Class II malocclusion with severe crowding. Anterior Open Bite in permanent dentition.
Treatment: Fixed Therapy.
Time: 24 months.
Lingual Pearl: After treatment and during 4 months.
Retention: total upper thermoformed splint with Lingual Pearl, and lower bonded (3 – 3).
Note: If we find at the end of the treatment an infantile deglutition, which can be a potential factor for a future relapse, we can initialise the swallowing deglutition with the Lingual Pearl bonded to the retainer.
